How Talent Globalization® Began
In 2014, PZI Group’s founder and CEO, Deborah E. McGee, recognized a recurring gap across corporate HR and global mobility functions. Traditional Human Resource Management (HRM) treated employees largely as resources or assets to manage—focusing on recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance, and retention. While it improved operational efficiency, it often remained transactional, siloed, and impersonal, especially for employees navigating global assignments.

Drawing from decades of leadership in global HR and finance—and informed by her lived experience as a military spouse—Deborah saw that employees were more than resources. They were individuals with unique talents, stories, and needs. Organizations needed a more holistic, integrated, people‑centered approach to support them.

In response, she introduced Talent Globalization®, now a registered and foundational operating model of PZI Group. The model elevates workforce management beyond compliance and efficiency—bridging global mobility, HR operations, payroll, benefits, and technology into one coordinated system.
